The Wales Veterans' Football Association have invited the England o70s squad to the Ocean Park Arena in Cardiff to play an international match against, double-World Champions, Wales on 19th November, 1pm KO.
Although the hosts lifted the o70s World Cup in Japan in October, they only retained the NHS Challenge Trophy, courtesy of a scoreless draw last time out at Newmarket in April, and although the Welsh contingent have had the benefit of the recently introduced WVFA o70s League, this will still be their first full match since Japan... ...so everything is to play for in what is likely to be another entertaining, close encounter.
We are also honoured and delighted that FAW President, Mike Jones, has agreed to present the trophy to the winning captain...hopefully the one who is wearing the RED kit!
