Six for Gavin Williams and 4-a-piece for Bannon and Daniels. Keddle and Lane were also on the scoresheet and an unfortunate Parry OG completed the scoring. Llanelli have to defeat Pencoed by 15 goals in their final match to leapfrog Penydarren!

A close encounter at Darran Park saw the hosts just edge Trefelin to maintain second spot in the o40s Workwear Supermarket.com League East League. Ferndale scored through Fry, Rees, Sweet and Dwayne Davies. Trefelin replied through Doyle, James and Johnson.

Briton Ferry Llansawel 3, Swansea Rockspur 1
A good win for the hosts at Cefn Saeson and they consolidated their 4th position in the league. Morgan (2) and Lorey were on target with Bonomi scoring a late consolation for the Spurs.

This home win makes for a tense end to the season and current League leaders, Penydarren, can only nervously wait for the result of Llanelli’s final game before they can fully celebrate League success. A hard-fought win for the visitors at the Maritime Ground in Pontypridd in a game that could have gone either way. Blackmore gave the hosts the lead but Dulieu equalised to make the scores level at the interval. Morgan put Rangers back in front on the hour, but Dulieu scored his second to make the last twenty minutes interesting....and a 90th minute winner by Llewellyn gave Village the 3 points.

The score line is not a fair reflection of the game, especially first half which was very competitive and evenly matched, but nevertheless the hosts secured a convincing 3 points to keep the pressure on the teams above them. They scored through Stephen Davies (3), Walsh (2), Clement, Austin and Morgan. Lewis got Trefelin’s consolation.

A close-fought and entertaining game at Maritime Recreation ended all-square. Village scored through Maksimovic (2) and Gareth Davies. Pencoed through Marlow (2) and Kirkham.

Another comfortable three points for the hosts at Darran Park means they are still in second place with a game in hand. Dale Pugh, Kris Rees and Dane Davies put them 3-0 up in the first half. Darren Blandon and Craig Williams were the second half scorers.

In the big game of the day in the West, o40s Workwear Supermarket.com League West league leaders, Penydarren, suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of rivals, Llanelli at Penrhos School. Wayne Williams gave the hosts an early lead and habitual scorer Bartley put them 2-0 up before the interval. Bannon got a goal back for the visitors before Williams and Bartley made it 4-1. Price got one back but Bartley completed his hat-trick to secure a valuable 3 points for the Reds, who are now back in contention for league honours.

A tight, hard-fought game at Darran Park was decided by a Jamie Michael free-kick on the hour-mark, which clinched the points for the hosts and keeps them in the hunt for honours.

Surprisingly a game of contrasting halves at Ynyscynon Park with Keddle putting the League leaders ahead and Shortman equalising for the hosts to take the teams in level at the break. This match was abandoned on 70 minutes with the game all-square, following a bad ankle injury to Llantwit’s Jamie Wright. Although Steve Davies put the hosts ahead and Craig Roberts equalised on the hour mark the result is secondary when a player suffers a serious injury and everyone in Wales Veterans football wishes Jamie a speedy recovery.

An entertaining, high-scoring draw at the Recreation Ground with the lead changing hands several times during the 90 minutes. Howard, Feeley and Ross Davies were on target for the hosts. Craig Jones (2) and Dave Lewis replied for the visitors.

This win for the visitors at Upper Boat moves them into second spot in the o40s Workwear Supermarket.com League West, behind leaders Penydarren. It looked like Dean Wood, Michael Hunt and Neil Lloyd-Meek had done enough for a share of the spoils for Aber, but goals by Gavin Short, Chris Martin and a Dewi Greenway brace, including the 94th minute winner, secured the 3 points for Cascade.

An emphatic win for the hosts at Jenner Park with a first half hat-trick from James Cotterill, and further goals in the second half from Darren Baker, Simon Gardner and Garan Davies keeps Barry on the same points as the league leaders.

A convincing win for the hosts in the local derby at Penrhos School with Mark Thomas, Steven Devonald, Richard Neil, Kevin Bartley, David Hughes and Steve Blackford on target for the Reds. Phil Raeburn scored a consolation for Rockspur.

An entertaining game on Tonteg Park ended all-square. Goal scorer for Llantwit were Nicky Beecher and an Andrew Gunter OG, whilst Craig Reddy and Damien Daniels were on target for Penydarren.

An entertaining high-scoring draw at Pencoed College ebbed and flowed until the last minute. Steven Rogers, David Lewis and Andrew Neill gave the hosts a convincing 3-0 lead at half-time. Tom Warren scored two quick goals minutes after the break and the unfortunate Andrew Neill put the ball into his own net in the last minute to earn the visitors a share of the spoils.

A great result for the hosts against one of the League favourites at Pantside. Rory Davies gave them a 2-0 lead before Anthony Ferguson scored late on to make the last 10 minutes tense.

In the battle of the Corries....the Cardiff side ran out emphatic winners with David Williams and Richard Bux grabbing a hat-trick a-piece and further goals from Robert Fowler, Mark Dodds, David Johnson and Justin Pengilley. An emphatic win for the hosts at Pentrebach with a Price hat-trick and further goals by Daniels, Needs and Norman securing the points. Richard Lewis scored a consolation for the visitors.

A goal-fest at Trehafod Park with a Solly brace and goals by Tyler, Joseph and Watkins securing the points for the league newcomers. Bewick (2) and Abercrombe were on target for the Village.

The hosts maintained their impressive home record at Coronation Park with a resounding win against Dinas. A John Myles hat-trick and further goals for David Collins, Andrew Perry and Stephen James secured the points for the Corries and Marc Cahill scored a consolation for Dinas.
