5th October
North League
Upper Rhondda made it 3 from 3 with an 1-4 victory against Hopkinstown with Thomas, Evans, Davies and Bowtell on target. Granelli scored for the hosts.
Aberfan beat Bedlinog 2-5 including a Howells hat-trick and Treforest got their season underway with a 2-4 win against Pant, with Frelford (2), Rogers and Livock on target.

South League
Cardiff Hibs move top after an emphatic 9-1 win at home to Llantwit Major including a Leighton James hat-trick.
Splott Albion continued their winning form beating Ely Sports 5-0 through Nagle (2), Fowler, Wyatt and Jeanne.
Cooper FC got back to winning ways with a 14-1 win over Aberystwth Exiles including four from Winter! Gethin Rees scored Exiles’ first goal of the season.

East League
Nelson Cavaliers made it 2 from 2 with a 6-4 win over FC Tredegar through Powell (4), Thomas and Rich. Austin (2), Watkins and Higgins replied for the visitors.
Cwrt Rawlin beat Caerphilly 1-2 with Midgley and an OG. Humphreys scored a last minute goal for the hosts.
Abertillery won 0-3 away to Blackwood through Fryatt, Gray and Carver.

West League
Evans & Williams move top with a 4-6 victory away to Penywaun. Smolka hit four along with Williams and Andrews. Walters, Chappell and Addiscott were on target for the hosts.
Briton Ferry Llansawel secured a fine 1-5 win against Aberdare Athletic-ish at Aberaman, with Gowan (2), Edwards, Jones and Lewis on the scoresheet. Thurlow scored a consolation for the hosts.
Rockpur started their season with an excellent 1-4 away win against Hirwaun with Northcote, Hughes, Barratt and Sillitoe. Bansal got a late goal for the hosts.

20th September

North League
Upper Rhondda made it 2 from 2 with an emphatic 10-2 win over Pant including a Shane Davies double-hat-trick. Aberfan edged a tight 2-1 game against Hopkinstown. Robbins and Howells put the hosts 2-0 up and Richards scored a second half goals for the visitors.

South League
Splott Albion beat Aberystwyth Exiles 24nil including a Brooks triple-hat-trick! Ely Sports shipped 8 goals to Cardiff Hibs at Cwrt yr Ala, with Quick (3), Gaughan, Bratcher, House, Cronin and Johnson on target.
Canton beat Llantwit Major 0-11, with White grabbing 4 and Riella 3.

East League
Newport Corries move top after a handsome 1-8 win away to Abertillery with goals by Whiskey (3), Prangley, Scanlon, Pearce and Lilygreen. Gray got a consolation for the hosts. Cwrt Rawlin beat Blackwood 6-3 through a Gammond hat-trick and goals by Wood (2) and Powell. Thomas, Jones and Harris scored for the visitors. FC Tredegar also made it 2 from 2 with 4-3 victory at home to Caerphilly. Daniels and Dewey put the visitors ahead before Strand and Watkins made it all square. Ben Thomas put Caerphilly back into the lead before Gavin Thomas and Moss sealed the 3 points in the last minute.

West League
Hirwaun beat Briton Ferry Llansawel 2-3 in an entertaining game at Cefn Saeson. The hosts took a 2-0 lead through Edwards but the visitors stormed back with Carter (2) and a late winner form Bansal. Evans & Williams defeated Aberdare Athletic-ish 5-0 with goals by Matt Williams (2), Matt Davies, Jenkins and Smolka.

6th September

North League
Upper Rhondda are early leaders in the o35s North League courtesy of an impressive 3 -10 win over Coedely, including 6 goals by Shane Davies, Derrick (2), Jones and Bowtell. Thomas, Morgan and Enoch scored for the hosts. Hopkinstown sit just below them after a 6-2 win over Bedlinog with a Talbot hat-trick and goals by Woodman (2) and Richards. Tilley and Donny on target for the visitors. The game between Aberfan and Pant finished 2-2. Badham and Howells scored for Aberdfan, Green got a brace for Pant.

South League
Cardiff Hibs recorded a WVFA record 22-0 win over Aberystwyth Exiles. Among the scorers were Leighton James with 6, House with 5 and both Gates and Cronin with a hat-trick a-piece. Canton recorded a comfortable 7-0 win at home to Ely Sports with goals from Kennedy (3), Cordle, Patterson, Riella and Gardner and Splott Albion defeated Cooper FC with goals by Alex (2) and Fowler.

East League
Tredegar, Newport Corries and Nelson Cavaliers won their opening day fixtures. Tredegar defeating Blackwood 0-6 through goals by Walters (2), Pearce (2), Moss and Watkins. Corries beat Cwrt Rawlin 5-1 with Bourne (2), Pearce, Prangley and Scanlon on target. Richards got a consolation for the visitors. Cubitt bagged four for hosts, Caerphilly, but still finished on the losing side in a 4-5 goal-fest. against Nelson, who scored through Powell (3), Gorham and James.

West League
Just one game in the West league saw Penywaun seal 3 points away to Aberdare Athletic-ish with goals by Woodward, Addiscott and Sedgemore. Evans and Stokes on target for the hosts.
