England crowned o55s SIX nations champions!

The Wales Veterans' Football Association recently took part in an o55s international tournament in Newcastle, County Down. From 11th – 13th September the inaugural SIX- Nations o55s competition saw hosts, Northern Ireland, Wales, England, Scotland and for the first time, Republic of Ireland and Bangladesh, compete for the coveted o55s crown.

England, were the deserved winners, winning their five matches, including a narrow 1-0 win over Wales. Wales were pushed back into third after losing to the champions and eventual runners-up, Republic of Ireland.
