7th December
O60s WorkwearSupermarket.com League leaders, Newport took another important 3 points with a fine 2-4 win away to Swansea, through a Walker hat-trick and a Carpanini goal. Andy Jones and Pasquantonio replied for the hosts.
Second-placed, Barry Town secured a comfortable 1-5 win away to Swansea Athletic with goals by Matthews, Hill, Sanderson, Lewis and Macnamara. Stockton got a consolation for the hosts.
The game between Cardiff Accies and Merthyr Tydfil finished all-square at University Fields. Welsh put the hosts ahead with Newham equalising late on for the visitors.
23rd November
A clinical Newport moved to the top of the o60s WorkwearSupermarket.com League following an emphatic win over a disjointed Barry Town. A hat-trick by Carpanini and further goals by Walker and Thomas sealed the three points and maintained their 100% record!
Swansea got back to winning ways with a similar 5-0 rout of Pontyclun. Lockett grabbed a hat-trick and Otway a brace as they moved into second place in the table.
Penybont secured their first 3 points of the season with a fine win against Merthyr at Pencoed College. Braham, Morgan and Stephen Davies were on the scoresheet, the latter also scoring an OG at the other end!
Cardiff Accies also got their first points of the season, beating Swansea Athletic 3-0 at the University Fields. Welsh put them ahead in the 50th minute and Lazarou bagged a brace in the last twenty.
9th November
Barry Town and Newport maintained their 100% records at the top of the o60s WorkwearSupermarket.com League.
Barry Town defeated title holders, Swansea 2-1, in a hard-fought match at Bro Morgannwg. Matthews gave Barry the lead with a clinical finish after good work by Murray and Sanderson. Pasquantonio equalised from the penalty spot before an emphatic strike by Hill, after good work by Matthews and Sanderson, secured the 3 points.
Newport recorded a comfortable 3-0 win against Penybont at Llanwern with Carpanini, Routley and Ross on target.
Pontyclun (pictured) secured an emphatic 6-1 win over Cardiff Accies after coming from behind to a Payne early goal at Talbot Park. Mele (3), Hatch (2) and Ryan were on target to give ‘Clun the 3 points. Merthyr crushed Swansea Athletic 0-8 at Penyrheol with goals by Price (4), Evans, Challenger, Perry and Lambert.
26th October
In the o60s WorkwearSupermarket.com League, Barry Town recorded an emphatic win against a debilitated Penybont. A superb strike by Warman got them on their way followed by two excellent hat-tricks for Sanderson and Averies plus a late goal by Matthews.
Newport defeated Cardiff Accies 3-1 at Llanwern with goals by Walker and Herrin. Davies scored for Accies
Pontyclun secured a 4-2 win over Merthyr Tydfil at Talbot Park. The hosts scored through Hosey, Owen, Hatch and Harding. The visitors replied through Price and a late Fitzgibbon OG.
Swansea edged the ‘Club’derby over Swansea Athletic with a single goal by Fredrickson with 15 minutes remaining.
12th October
In the third round of matches in the o60s WorkwearSupermarket.com League, Swansea move top, courtesy of a 4-0 win away to the Accies. Although they left it late, goals by Otway, Fredrickson (2) and Lloyd secured the points. Much fancied, Newport, claimed a fine 1-2 win over Pontyclun at Talbot Park with Walker, following up his debut goal for Wales the previous day, and Carpanini on the scoresheet. Hosey scored for ‘Clun. Penybont conceded their match against Swansea Athletic.
28th September
In the second round of matches in the o60s WorkwearSupermarket.com League 2025/26, Barry Town made it 2 from 2 with a 1-3 win against Cardiff Accies. Owen put the hosts ahead at the University Fields, but Seago maintained his good run of form with two well-taken goals and an assist for Cooksey. Holders, Swansea got back to winning ways with a convincing 0-4 away win over Penybont, with Broome getting them off the mark and Lockett sealing the points with a hat-trick. Pontyclun got off the mark with a convincing 4-0 win over Swansea Athletic through a Mele hat-trick and a White goal.
14th September
The o50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League 2025/26 finally got underway with last season’s winners, Swansea being held 1-1 at home to Merthyr Tydfil (Griffiths).
Runners-up Barry Town (Seago, Cooksey) scored a narrow, but convincing home win against Pontyclun with goals by Seago and Cooksey. The visitors scored with minutes remaining through a 20yard Owen strike. Newport recorded an emphatic 7-0 away win against Swansea Athletic with Walker hat-trick and further goals from Carpanini (2), Griffiths and Ross.
