The Wales Veterans' Football Association sent a strong o60s squad to the home of English football and returned with a fine win....writes a pitch-side reporter...

The ‘Dragons’ dominated for long periods with Vaughan and Matthews influential the latter also amongst the scorers along with Mele and Carpanini. Manager, Parkinson was obviously “delighted with a commanding performance, which sets the squad up nicely for the 2025 Four nations tournament in La Manga in March”.
