Boulton scored a deserved goal to make the final score 4-1.

Merthyr snatched a late victory against Newport with Price scoring minutes from time. Swansea welcomed Barry Town to Penyrheol, but suffered a 1-5 defeat, courtesy of a Fredriksen hat-trick and goals by Thomas and Rutherford. Jenkins got a late consolation for the hosts. Cardiff Accies suffered a 0-5 defeat at home to Pontyclun with goals by Phillips (2), Mele (2) and Brooks.
