Congratulations to Llanelli Town, who ran out 7-1 winners against Newport and lifted the o50s WorkwearSupermarket.com cup. In-front of a ‘packed-house’, Newport took an early lead through the superb Simon Old, but his team couldn’t stem the Llanelli tide, who responded immediately when Davey equalised after good work by Rogers. The League winners were simply irresistible with Rogers again the provider for Bartley’s first two of a hat-trick, as the Reds put themselves into a position from which they never looked back.
In the second half Bartley completed his hat-trick, before Williams scored, first from the penalty spot and then with a neat dink over the keeper. Davey got his second to complete the scoring and captain, Evans collected the o50s WorkwearSupermarket.com cup to complete a fine League and cup double.

League champions, Llanelli Town beat Penybont 0-3 at a sweltering Penrhos School...writes a pitch-side reporter...A scrappy first-half ended goal-less with neither side being able to create anything clear-cut.
But whatever was said at half-time by Llanelli manager, Delaney, certainly hit home, when, from the restart his team broke forward after good work on the right by Price. His pass found Davey, who netted from close range. Minutes later Bartley got on the score sheet as he rifled a low shot into the back of the net. Penybont’s solitary shot on target looked to be heading for the top corner but Bryant was equal to it, pulling off a fine save. The ever-lively Legg was pulling the strings out wide and it was his delivery that found Davey who got his second of the game and made sure the Reds booked their spot in the semi-final where they will face Merthyr, who advanced when Pontyclun conceded.
Newport secured a fine 3-1 victory over Nelson with Short (2) and Old on the scoresheet. Roberts scored for the visitors. Newport will now travel to Swansea who won their match against Cardiff Accies 7-3 on 12th April. G.Davies (3), Kerr (2) and Smith (2) were on target. Vaskin, Murray and N. Jones scored for Accies.
